Design Consultation
Our engineering team reviews your submission and contacts you within 2 business days to discuss feasibility, material options, and any clarifying questions before quoting.

Design & Prototype
We produce a 3D model of your part. For reproduction jobs we reverse-engineer from your supplied reference; for new designs we build from your specification. A prototype may be produced for fit-testing on request.

Approval
We send you design renders and, where applicable, a physical prototype for sign-off. No production run begins until you have confirmed the design.

Production
Once approved, your part enters our UK print queue. We use industrial-grade 3D printing with materials selected for durability and fitment to original specifications.

Delivery
Your finished parts are quality-checked, packaged, and dispatched from our UK workshop. You receive tracking and full documentation for your records.

How long does a custom part take from enquiry to delivery?
Turnaround depends on complexity and quantity. Simple reproduction parts typically take 7-14 working days from design sign-off; more complex or multi-component parts may take 3-5 weeks. We'll give you an estimated timeline when we respond to your enquiry.
What file formats do you accept?
We accept most common CAD and reference formats including .STL, .STEP, .IGES, .OBJ, and .3MF for 3D files, plus .DWG and .DXF for 2D drawings, and .PDF for technical documents and reference sheets. If you only have photographs or a physical part, that's fine too — we can reverse-engineer from those.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
No. We can produce a single one-off part or a production run of hundreds. Pricing per unit naturally decreases for larger quantities. Indicate your quantity in the enquiry form and we'll quote accordingly.
What materials can you print in?
We print in PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, Nylon (PA12), TPU for flexible components, resin for high-detail parts, and carbon fibre composite for structural applications. We'll advise on the best material for your specific part and its operating environment during consultation.
How is the custom part priced?
Pricing is based on part complexity, material, quantity, and production time. There is no fixed price list for custom work — we provide a full written quote before any work begins. You are under no obligation until you confirm the quote.
Can you reverse-engineer a part from the original physical component?
Yes. If you can send us the original part, we can 3D-scan or manually measure and model it to produce an accurate reproduction. Alternatively, clear photographs with a reference scale (e.g. a ruler alongside) and any dimensions you can measure are often sufficient for straightforward reproductions.
Are custom parts covered by any warranty?
All custom parts are inspected and quality-checked before dispatch. If a part fails under normal use due to a manufacturing defect, we will replace it at no cost. We are unable to warrant parts that have been modified or fitted incorrectly.
Can I request a prototype before committing to a full production run?
Yes. We recommend a prototype or first-article part for any production run of 5 or more units. Prototype costs are quoted separately and will typically be credited against the production order on approval.
